Behavioral Health Case Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Access Ohio, a community behavioral health agency, is hiring case managers to provide CPST (community psychiatric supportive treatment) services primarily in the community. Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in social work/psychology OR associates degree in human services/substance abuse preferred. Will consider experienced case managers with demonstrated work performance and no degree.

Knowledge & Skill:

  • Strong knowledge of wellness, recovery and self-help Effective communication and written skills are essential.

Staff Nurse (RN & LPN)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Access Ohio, an outpatient community behavioral health services agency is hiring part-time/full-time Registered Nurses (RN’s) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), for multiple locations. Experience in mental health and substance abuse disorders preferred.

Responsibilities & Skill:

  • Proficient in utilizing and adapting to technology such as Microsoft Office, scanning and image transfer and electronic health records.
  • Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people and client populations.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in a complex environment with multiple priorities.

  • Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Access Ohio is looking to hire an experienced, energetic Medical Practice Office Manager to provide administrative leadership for our rapidly growing community behavioral health agency.

Job Duties:

  • Agency Leadership and Management/Member of Access Ohio Management Team
  • Integrity, positive attitude, mission-driven, and self-directed commitment to working  collaboratively with a management team of senior professionals
  • Establish team atmosphere through leadership and employee development
  • Manage employee schedules and troubleshoot scheduling conflicts as they arise
  • Maintains office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and the coordination of ordering supplies and equipment as needed
  • Designs and implements office policies by establishing standards and procedures; measuring results against standards; making necessary adjustments
  • Manage quality inquiries, staff training, employee follow through and documentation of client and/or outside agency/customer complaint calls while working directly with Clinical Directors and Clients Rights Officers

  • Provides historical reference by defining procedures for retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of

  • Complete Employee Exit Interviews with staff or schedules them with a member of Human Resources

Site Clinical Director

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Access Ohio, an outpatient community behavioral health services agency is hiring a multiple Site Clinical Directors for our agency. The position works under the direction of the CEO and serves as part of the Access Ohio senior management team and shares the senior management responsibility of representing Access Ohio on a local, regional, and national basis. The position has overall clinical, operational, supervisory, and quality improvement responsibilities for all clinical services and ensures that the program remains in compliance with all licensing and accreditation entities. Experience in mental health and/or alcohol and drug treatment preferred.

Knowledge & Competencies:

  • Knowledge of and experience implementing evidence-based and best practice models pertaining to psycho-education, motivational interviewing, serious mental illness, addiction and recovery.
  • Designs all aspects of treatment services and establishes and maintains the therapeutic milieu for the program.

Job Duties:

  • Welcomes and greets all patients and visitors, in person or over the phone.
  • Check in and schedule patients.
  • Greets and checks patients in.
  • Answering and directing phone calls and scheduling appointments.
  • Verify insurance coverage.
  • Enter and update patient demographics in scheduling/EHR system
  • Scheduling of patient appointments and makes appointment reminder calls as needed.
  • Facilitates patient flow by notifying the provider of patient’s arrival, being aware of delays, and communicating with both patients and clinical staff.
